Bataan golf destination climbs to No. 15 in Asia, marking the highest placement for a Philippine course
Anvaya Cove Golf Course in Morong, Bataan has retained its position as the No. 1 golf course in Southeast Asia and climbed to 15th overall in the Top 100 Golf Courses in Asia, its strongest showing yet on the regional list.
The 18-hole, par-72 championship course is part of Anvaya Cove, Ayala Land Premier’s first seaside leisure estate. The latest ranking represents a four-place improvement from No. 19 in Asia in 2024, when the course also ranked first in Southeast Asia.
Recognition across Asia

The Top 100 Golf Courses in Asia list is determined by a panel of 74 golf industry experts and committee members from 12 countries, in collaboration with Golf Travel Korea and Golf Travel China.
Courses are assessed based on design and strategic challenge, facilities, service and the overall golfer experience. Anvaya Cove was recognized for a layout that offers varying shot requirements, elevation changes and approaches that reward strategic play.
Spanning 82 hectares and stretching approximately 7,200 yards from the championship tees, the course was designed around the natural landscape of Morong. Its setting brings together views of the Zambales Mountain Range, the forested slopes of Mount Natib and Subic Bay.
The terrain also plays an active role in the course, with elevation and prevailing winds from the bay influencing club selection and strategy. Club operations are managed by Ayala Land Hospitality.
More than a golf destination

Located about 25 minutes from the Subic Bay Freeport Zone and 3.5 hours from Metro Manila via NLEX and SCTEX, Anvaya Cove sits within the Subic-Clark corridor.
For Ayala Land Premier, the golf course anchors the larger residential and leisure estate, forming an integral part of its residential proposition.
“Our passion is to continue the quality of the golf course and to maintain it consistently, knowing the jewel that Anvaya Cove is. Being able to win this award for two consecutive years and being the first in Southeast Asia is an achievement for management and everyone that has helped build this place,” said Raymond Bunquin, General Manager of Anvaya Cove Golf & Sports Club.
“It is more than just the golf course itself; it is the total experience we offer our players and members that elevates Anvaya Cove to be above the rest,” he added.
Beyond golf, Anvaya Cove brings together residential communities, the Anvaya Beach & Nature Club and the Anvaya Cove Golf & Sports Club. Residents and members have access to the coastline, forest trails and recreational facilities within the estate’s mountain-and-sea setting.
