Ascott Philippines unveils 2026 campaign and expansion plans at annual gathering

The Ascott Limited Philippines outlined its strategic direction for 2026 during its annual Mingle with Ascott event on February 26 at Centro de Turismo in Intramuros, presenting new developments, refreshed lifestyle offerings, and a nationwide campaign aimed at strengthening its footprint across key destinations.

More than a social function, the event serves as the company’s signature platform for engaging corporate partners, media, and members of the Ascott Star Rewards (ASR) program while sharing portfolio updates and future initiatives.

Central to this year’s announcements was the launch of the campaign theme “At the Confluence,” inspired by the Philippines’ role as a meeting point of cultures. The theme positions Ascott as a space where diverse people, stories, and experiences come together, captured in the tagline “Where worlds meet, journeys begin.”

The venue reflected this concept through décor inspired by porcelain artifacts from the San Diego shipwreck, paired with modern interpretations of Filipino landmarks and Ascott properties. Guests enjoyed canapés and cocktails curated by the culinary team of Citadines Bay City Manila, live music, and interactive Baybayin calligraphy sessions that highlighted the fusion of heritage and contemporary hospitality.

Complementing its accommodation portfolio, Ascott also introduced new dining concepts across several properties nationwide, reinforcing its focus on lifestyle-driven hospitality. ASR members will receive discounts of up to 20 percent across participating outlets, applicable to buffets, à la carte menus, and non-alcoholic beverages.

To mark the campaign launch, the company introduced a year-long promotional offer encouraging travel across both urban centers and island destinations in the Philippines. The “Islands and Cities” promotion provides discounted stays at participating Ascott, Citadines, Somerset, Oakwood, and lyf properties, with bookings made within the promotional period and stays valid through February 2027.

Beyond the announcements, the event emphasized culture and community through performances, interactive art sessions, curated menus, and raffle prizes including accommodation vouchers and airline miles. The evening concluded with artisanal chocolates and pastries representing the diversity of Ascott’s brand portfolio—distinct offerings united by a shared standard of hospitality.
