Philippines Real Estate Awards 2026 ushers in a new era for Philippine real estate
The Philippine real estate community came together at the Grand Ballroom of Okada Manila on September 17 for the Philippines Real Estate Awards 2026, marking more than another celebration of industry achievement.

Presented by Dot Property and Lamudi, the awards signaled a new chapter for a platform that has grown alongside an increasingly diverse and evolving Philippine property sector.
Bringing together developers, real estate companies, agencies, professionals and industry stakeholders, the event recognized the people, organizations, developments and ideas contributing to the continued progress of Philippine real estate.
Behind the recognitions was a larger story: an industry that is itself changing—and a broader understanding of what excellence means for Philippine real estate today.
More than a rebrand

The 2026 edition marked the transition from the Dot Property Philippines Awards to the Philippines Real Estate Awards, reflecting a broader ambition for the program and the industry it represents.
“This is more than just a rebrand,” said Tanya Peralta-Yu, Country Manager of DOT Property and Lamudi Philippines, speaking about the evolution of the awards.
Philippine real estate has navigated changing market conditions, shifts in consumer behavior and rapid digital transformation. Developers are responding to new expectations about how Filipinos want to live, work and invest, while technology has transformed how buyers discover and evaluate property.

“Developers are building differently. Buyers are searching differently as well,” Yu said.
The awards are evolving alongside these changes, providing a platform that recognizes achievement while reflecting the forces reshaping the country’s property landscape.

A changing measure of excellence
The breadth of this year’s awards reflected that evolution.
Recognition extended across design, investment property, residential and mixed-use development, affordable housing, wellness, retail, master-planned communities, industrial development, real estate services and financing.
From starter homes and affordable housing to student residences, wellness communities, retail destinations and master-planned developments, the categories demonstrated the many directions in which the Philippine property landscape continues to grow.
The awards also looked beyond buildings. Developers were recognized alongside agencies, property professionals, financial institutions and industry leaders—acknowledging the wider ecosystem involved in creating communities and connecting buyers and investors with property opportunities.
For Yu, this makes the awards a reflection of where Philippine property stands today.
“It is a milestone, a marker of where the industry stands today,” she said.
Building the next chapter

Beyond recognition, the Philippines Real Estate Awards also serves as a meeting point for the property community, allowing industry leaders and professionals to reconnect, exchange insights and strengthen relationships.
The celebration continues in Bangkok, Thailand, in December with the Southeast Asia Real Estate Awards 2026, bringing together real estate companies and developers from across the region.
“From Dot Property Philippines Awards to Philippines Real Estate Awards, the name has changed, but the mission has grown stronger,” Yu said.
The new era, then, is about more than a new name. It reflects an industry continuing to rethink what it builds, how it responds to changing needs, and what excellence should look like in the years ahead.
