Some developments don’t just define a destination; they reshape how it is perceived. The Nautilus at CaSoBe (Calatagan South Beach) is emerging as one of those rare addresses, after securing a strong showing at the 2026–2027 Asia-Pacific Property Awards and advancing to the international stage.
The beachfront condotel, developed by Landco Pacific, received four Five Star distinctions in Architecture for Multiple Residences, Leisure Architecture, Sustainable Residential Development, and Leisure Development. The recognition was announced during a gala night in Bangkok attended by leading figures in architecture, design, and real estate, held at the Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park.
From a wider field of more than 800 entries evaluated by over 100 global industry experts based in London, The Nautilus was also the only Philippine development to move forward to the International Property Awards. It is shortlisted in two categories: Architecture for Multiple Residences and Leisure Architecture, with the final judging set to take place in London later this year.
The recognition adds to Landco Pacific’s growing international footprint. Its earlier project, The Spinnaker at Club Laiya, became the first Philippine development to win Best International Sustainable Residential Development at the 2024–2025 International Property Awards in London. The Nautilus now follows in that trajectory, extending the country’s presence in the global conversation on design and sustainability.
A design language rooted in intention
“When the world takes notice of The Nautilus, it validates something we have long stood by – that when you build with genuine care for design, for people, and for the environment, the results speak for themselves,” said Landco Pacific’s President and CEO Erickson Y. Manzano. “Four Asia-Pacific Property Awards and two international nominations are humbling. Drawing inspiration from Jules Verne’s Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, The Nautilus was envisioned as a statement piece rather than a background structure. The 10-storey condotel sits at the center of CaSoBe, Landco Pacific’s 15-hectare beachfront estate in Batangas, located roughly two to three hours from Metro Manila and powered by 100% renewable energy.
The development was designed by Pomeroy Studio (Singapore) in collaboration with Visionarch (Philippines), bringing together international and local perspectives. Its architecture emphasizes openness and coastal integration, with floor-to-ceiling glazing, 2.8-metre ceiling heights, and balconies oriented toward the sea across 171 residential units and five commercial spaces. Configurations range from studios to three-bedroom suites, each positioned to maximize views of the Calatagan shoreline.
It also holds the distinction of being the Philippines’ first residential and commercial beachfront condominium to achieve Preliminary EDGE Advanced Certification, reflecting its performance in energy efficiency and sustainable design. Systems such as solar canopies, EV charging stations, and water-efficient infrastructure are integrated alongside resort-style amenities, including infinity pools, spa facilities, and panoramic viewing decks.
A resort lifestyle anchored in place
The Nautilus is built around a single idea: extending the experience of leisure into everyday living. Within CaSoBe, residents and guests move through a coastal environment shaped by sensory detail—from ocean views and natural textures to curated dining rooted in Batangas culinary traditions.
Key amenities include infinity pools, The Abyss Spa, the Observatory rooftop deck, Captain’s Hideout bar, and the Horizon Pool Deck. The wider estate expands this experience through dining destinations such as Sands and Captain Barbozza, alongside attractions like Aquaria Water Park, cycling routes, water activities, and the CaSoBe Lighthouse.
