From a single beachfront address in Boracay, The Lind Hotels is charting a broader course across the Philippines, with new developments underway in Coron and Siargao as part of its next phase of growth.
The expansion reflects a measured approach to building a presence across key island destinations, guided less by scale and more by how each location can offer a distinct experience. For the brand, the focus remains on shaping properties that respond to both place and guest expectations.
At the center of this evolution is The Lind Boracay, the property that established the brand’s identity. Positioned along the quieter stretch of Station 1, it has built a following anchored not only on its location but on a philosophy that prioritizes guest experience at every touchpoint. Its inclusion in the MICHELIN Guide marked an early milestone, reinforcing its standing while setting a benchmark for future developments.
Over time, the property has continued to adapt, introducing new concepts and refining its offerings in response to guest preferences. This ongoing evolution has helped cultivate a loyal base of returning visitors, shaping how the brand approaches its next destinations.
“The question we always ask ourselves is simple: if we were the guest, what would we enjoy?” says Pierre Henrichs, COO of The Lind Hotels. “That mindset has guided everything we’ve built, and it continues to shape how we grow.”

Coron will be the first to open, introducing a different interpretation of the Lind experience. Set on a peninsula, the upcoming property is designed to emphasize privacy, with villa-style accommodations and a setting that balances seclusion with accessibility. Dining venues, a dive center, and expanded wellness and leisure facilities will form part of the development, positioning it as both a retreat and an activity-driven destination.

In Siargao, the brand is taking a similarly deliberate step into a destination that continues to gain attention for its natural landscape and surf culture. With limited high-quality accommodations currently available, the project presents an opportunity to enter a market still in its early stages of growth.
Rather than replicating a single formula, The Lind Hotels approaches each site as its own expression of the brand. Independence remains central to this strategy, allowing the group to respond quickly to changing conditions while maintaining consistency in how it engages with guests.
“We chose to remain independent because it allows us to move quickly, adapt, and build something that truly reflects who we are,” says Henrichs. “We are not trying to grow everywhere at once. We want to do it properly, step by step.”
This flexibility has allowed the brand to refine its approach over time, shaping properties that evolve alongside guest expectations. As it moves into Coron and Siargao, the intention is to carry forward the same sensibility that defined its Boracay beginnings, while allowing each destination to develop its own character.
“We’ve built something in Boracay that people connect with,” says Henrichs. “As we expand into Coron and Siargao, the priority is to keep that same spirit—independent, adaptable, and always shaped around the guest.”
