Stelliers Asia unveils 2026 finalists ahead of Bangkok awards ceremony

Stelliers has announced the finalists for Stelliers Asia 2026, presented by NORDAQ, highlighting outstanding hospitality professionals across the region. The shortlist was revealed during a live broadcast on 5 June 2026, ahead of the Grand Awards Ceremony scheduled in Bangkok later this year.

The annual programme continues to spotlight individuals who have demonstrated excellence in service, leadership, and guest experience across Asia’s hospitality sector. At the core of Stelliers is its Just Cause, which seeks to elevate hotel professionals so they feel seen, valued, and inspired to lead.

For the 2026 edition, three new categories have been introduced—Security, Owner, and Pastry Chef—reflecting the evolving structure of modern hotel operations. The additions are intended to broaden recognition across key roles that contribute to a property’s overall performance, reinforcing the platform’s focus on inclusivity and industry relevance.

“Hospitality has always been an industry built by people, and this year’s finalists are a reflection of the individuals and teams creating meaningful experiences across Asia every single day. What makes the Stelliers community so special is not only the exceptional talent represented among our finalists, but also the shared passion and dedication seen throughout the wider industry. We are honored to celebrate everyone who continues to shape hospitality through leadership, creativity, and genuine care for others.” said Simon Hansson Yu, Managing Director of Stelliers.

This year’s shortlist features professionals from across Asia, including six Filipinos recognized in key categories: Engineering, Food and Beverage, Front Office, General Manager, Revenue Management, and Sales.

Among the Filipino finalists are Christine Concepcion of Grand Hyatt Manila for Engineering; Juvel Contreras of City of Dreams Manila for Food and Beverage; Victoria Mejias, also of City of Dreams Manila, for Front Office; Ruby Garcia of COMO Metropolitan Singapore for General Manager; Nico Donceras of Grand Hyatt Manila for Revenue Management; and Francis David of Marco Polo Ortigas Manila for Sales and Marketing.

The selection process for Stelliers Asia 2026, presented by NORDAQ, is overseen by an independent panel of industry experts spanning hospitality, technology, asset management, and advisory leadership. This year’s judges include Regan Taikitsadaporn of Prokopi Consulting; Bernhard Bohnenberger of Discover Collection; Mark De Cocinis, former CEO of Boutique Group; Simon Kahn of Google APAC; and Yona He of Oracle.

“The caliber of submissions for Stelliers Asia 2026, presented by NORDAQ has been truly exceptional. These finalists represent the very best of our industry and show that true excellence is always rooted in the people who deliver it.” said Regan Taikitsadaporn, Founder & Managing Director of Prokopi Consulting. “Reviewing these applications is a powerful reminder of the resilience, innovation, and passion that drive the hospitality sector in Asia.”

Stelliers Asia 2026 is supported by NORDAQ as Title Partner, with MJAI as Silver Partner, FINN Partners as PR Partner, and PR Newswire as Media Partner.

The Grand Awards Ceremony will be held on 25 September at the Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok, a landmark venue marking its 150th anniversary this year.
